Fitcation: From Audit to Launch-Ready in 4 Phases
Fitcation came to us with a great product and a clear vision, but a store that wasn't quite ready to convert visitors into bookings. Over four focused phases, we audited, redesigned, and automated key parts of their Shopify store to get them launch-ready and set up for long-term growth.
The Challenge
Fitcation's store had real potential but several critical blockers stood in the way of a confident launch: missing settings, incomplete policies, payment configuration that wasn't ready for real customers, and a product page experience that created confusion rather than bookings. A full-screen hero image buried navigation, dark text on dark imagery hurt readability, and deposit vs. full-payment options weren't clearly presented. On top of that, follow-up on outstanding deposit balances was entirely manual, time-consuming and easy to miss.
The Solution
We worked through four focused phases. First, a full storefront audit delivered a structured action list grouped by theme so the Fitcation team could work systematically. Next, we redesigned the product page experience with clarity, trust, and booking intent at the centre, including an improved upsell/downsell flow for room options without leaving the page. We then standardised CTA copy and placement across all key templates, replacing weak labels with stronger, action-oriented alternatives. Finally, we built a Shopify Flow automation to track deposit status and trigger timely follow-up reminders via Shopify Messaging, removing manual admin work entirely.
The Result
By the end of the engagement, Fitcation had a store ready to launch with confidence: a solid settings baseline, product pages optimised for conversion, consistent CTAs across the entire site, and an automated deposit follow-up system that reduced admin overhead and improved payment completion, without any manual intervention.
